Brotherly Love
A week or so ago we were out in the yard and I manage to quickly catch this demonstration of sibling affection. It’s a bit out of focus, but I love it for what it is: brotherly love.
Duncan opened wide his arms and Owen ran in.
So sweet.
And I love the brilliant blue of Duncan’s eyes in this picture.
They call each other “Ga Ga” (Duncan) and “Tia” (Owen) now. They’re so funny and cute and hard and exasperating and maddening and kissable all at the same time.

I love it. The “frame” in my head following that sweet embrace is of one of them throwing the other down to the ground. That’s usually how it ends up here.
Please let us keep them for you again soon. We love your little guys!
My twins called each other “gon” and “dird”. We have no idea why. I asked them why when they could talk and Caleb said, “we didn’t know what each other’s names were”. so funny. I’m glad i have video of them using their twin names.
The pics are absolutely adorable! And you captured that age just perfectly in your last sentence.
Ga-ga and Tia are amazingly cute! And what hilarious names.

love those blue eyes. they are so sweet.
These pictures are stunning and your two kids are so handsome.
Adorable! When Joel was little we could figure out “Arah” was Sarah, but he called Stephen “BawBaw” and Ben was “Dee-zhou.” Never figured out the BawBaw origin, but one day I was calling down to Ben from upstairs to the basement, and I asked, “Ben, did you finish your paper? and a few second later, ” and Ben, did you switch the laundry over?” Joel heard “Ben, did you–” and thought Ben’s NAME was “did you” which came out “deezhou”. Sad but true.
Awh… so sweet! I get that feeling too – the funny and sweet and maddening and kissable… Great catches there!
