I think it no small matter that God has shown you literal light in your symbolic darkness, for truly there must be some dark emotions that you fight (or will fight) in the future. Not to be cheesy, but remember to “look up” (at your ceiling) to remember His providence. And I really do like the aethetic appeal. I can appreciate the need for more light, and I have a moonlight testimony from Feb 2002 which was my darkest hour. I will always hold on to that.

Looks wonderful Danielle! We just installed recessed lighting as part of our renovation (we’ve waited 9 years to do it lol) and my goodness, doesn’t it make such a huge difference?!

my husband was laid off a year ago last summer for 6 weeks before finding a new job, and then was laid off from that job in feb 09 through aug 09, so i totally understand what it’s like! (i blogged about it, too).

honestly, it was some of the best times of my life- but yes, the day is VERY different with dad at home!! and sharing the computer is NOT easy!!
