Little Climbers

August 21, 2008

The adventures of Duncan and Owen continue! This phase is all about climbing. They keep me on my toes, for sure. There’s nothing they won’t try to climb. If you notice, Owen is the usual culprit, when it comes to scaling the heights.

Uh oh, mom just came into the room!

Hmm, take a picture or help him down? Of course, I’ll get a picture first. Good thing, as he fell of right after I got this shot and I semi-grabbed him. I want my kids to know early on where my priorities are! It’s all about getting the shot, heck with their safety! :)

Tasting a shell. Yes, it's Owen again . . .

While the next picture doesn’t technically belong in the “climbing” category, I thought it was too cute to pass up.

A favorite place to sit.

I better go check on them now!

…but they are so cute about it!

Just FYI, I couldn’t click on the pics to enlarge them. Not sure if it’s on your end or mine though!

Yeah, I don’t know what happened. I guess WP changed that function?!? Annoying. So I enlarged them, because they were a little small . . .

Hilarious!!!!!! My mom’s friend had twins (in her mid 40′s she had teens and found out) anyhow they would help each other climb things and what one didn’t think of the other would. They were a handful. Your guys are soooooo adorable. Watch the dining room table, Jude use to swing from chandeliers at their age. HEE HEE.

My twins weren’t big climbers…..but I think Benjamin is going to be our climber. At 7 months he was already climbing on boxes and up the steps…..

They are SO cute!!! And, I bet they use that to their advantage, don’t they? ;)

If you ever need help with them I would LOVE to spend some time with them, so just shoot me an email or call. I can’t guarantee how often I would be able to say yes with school and work, but it’s worth a try.

LOL. Wow… this is what I have to look forward to… great. :) Btw… your boys are too cute and I don’t know, perhaps it’s Owen’s name, but I can’t help but think of the Wilson brothers and imagine that one day Owen and Duncan — who will be very cool, after all how could they not with names like that — will be getting into all sorts of interesting situations. All good fun though. LOL

Little stinkers! :o ) Oh so cute!
Can’t believe they’re the same little babes I remember.

We still hope to get together with you guys–maybe sometime this fall once the start of school is behind us?

Here I was watching for them, and I missed them yesterday!

These aren’t just snapshots, btw. You have a great story-telling eye!

    SO cute.

Can we talk about dowry/betrothals now? I’ll take either one of them for Piper. ;-)

Too stinkin’ cute. You don’t strike me as a first-time mom with your relaxed “get the picture first” mindset. I love the bucket shot, too.
