August 4, 2008
Well, I’m back to the virtual world. Josh was at a conference most of last week and took the computer with him, then we spent the weekend in Virginia for a wedding.

I’ve been “tagged” and since it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these things, and don’t have much more to say today, I thought fill one out:

5 Random Things People May Not Know

I won every award and trophy possible one year at the Elizabethtown fair when I was about 11 years old with my heifer, Rose, who I was showing for competition.

I wanted twins when I was very young, and wanted a boy/girl and name them Christian & Christiana. Can you guess what book I was reading?

I want to learn to play golf, so I can play with Josh.

In my other life I’d love to be a electric-guitar playing rock star.

Despite my Type-A tendencies, I’m laid back as a parent. I don’t worry about germs, about them hurting themselves, etc. I’m really not a worrier in general, so this extends to the kiddos.

CD I would want if stranded on an island

I want mine to be a mixed CD too, but of all instrumental classical music (I get too tired of music with lyrics). I just would have to have Barber’s Adagio for Strings and some Yo Yo Ma. If you’ve never heard the Adagio for Strings, you must listen to it. It

What I’d Do if I Were a Billionaire

Pay off school debt and the house (and finish the basement of the house)
Help siblings with school and provide housing for our moms
Donate money to various causes, charities, and church
Take a European tour, at long last!

I’m tagging Robin, Anne, and Rebecca.
