Britton Family Photo Shoot
A few weekends ago, on the hottest weekend ever, I did my first photo shoot. I must admit to being nervous, but it was really a lot of fun! The Britton family are a beautiful family in the first place so it wasn’t hard to get lovely pictures of them, and despite the heat, they held up well. By looking, you can’t tell how sweltering it was! Check out the side bar to see the link to Flickr to check out more images. I’m new to Flickr and just figuring out how it all works. I’ll be adding more photos in the future there, and I’ll be using it to organize my photos for my website as well. I’d love to get feedback on my shots as well as comments as to proofing them (hem, Bethany and Megan). I’ve done preliminary proofing, but once they choose which images they want and choose the enlargement size, I’ll do a more complete edit
Just took a quick look at your flickr pics. I think they’re beautiful, Danielle. I love the textures in the picture with the people. Like this one with the white washed wood on the side. One of my other favorites is the black and white of Will from behind on the brick path. Very nice. You’ve inspired me to take my kids out and shoot away!

Nice job, Danielle. I really like the one of the three walking (away from camera) in the meadow the head-to-head shot of mom and boy. Love his sweaty curls and cutie pie smiles.
We’re thrilled with the pics, Danielle! Thanks so much for letting us be your guinea pigs and bearing the heat with us! Looking back, I think it only helped accomplish exactly what we wanted…capturing our little guy at the age he’s at! Adventurous, curious, so precious…and quite often dirty and sweaty from playing outside!
