Three Years
On this day three years ago, I got married to the most wonderful man. Together, we’ve gone through a great deal of extended family upheavel on both sides, are almost finished restoring a house (yes, pictures to come soon), and have become parents to twins. All of these big, life-changing events have brought us closer together and deepened our friendship. There is truly no one else who I’d rather spend time with. That God would bless me so with Josh is mind boggling! I could never have foreseen how perfect we are for each other, not even the day we got married. Each new day confirms that he is my most perfect soul mate. I could continue with much more mushiness, but will save that for private.

Sweetie, God has been so good to give us each other! I know what you mean about spending time –I cherish that more and more. I was telling a friend this morning how I married such an “even-keel” girl. When the twins are screaming, construction dust is settling, and dinner is being formed on the table, you are peaceful, courageous, cheerful, and most of all my lovely wife! I can’t believe you’re mine!

Congrats! Seems like yesterday we were picking out our green dresses (and I still marvel at the ability of some to confuse sage green with turquoise, etc!!!!).

Happy Anniversary! I love how God further confirms His perfect will in bringing husband and wife together with each day that passes and each set of circumstances (esp. the most trying ones) we go through. I would say the same thing about Lawrence and my marriage.

It is crazy how much you have endured and done in three years! You guys are such an adorable couple, and my prayer for you both is that your love for one another and Christ will continue to grow as you seek him.
